U92 ‘The Moose’ named finalist for College Broadcasters, Inc. awards

U92 “The Moose”, West Virginia University’s student-run radio station, was named a finalist for two College Broadcasters, Inc. Awards on Friday, Aug. 26. 


U92 is a finalist in the following categories:

  • Best sports play-by-play - West Virginia University Football vs. Long Island University
  • Best sports show - U92’s “The NFL Draft Show”
"I couldn't be prouder of the content we created over my four years at U92 and in the content the radio station has continued to produce since,” said former U92 operations manager Luke Wiggs. “U92 continues to be a training ground for the next generation of great broadcasters, and we're all humbled at the chance to be recognized alongside college radio's best."

Awards will be announced and given during CBI’s annual convention in Baltimore on Oct. 29.
