WVU baseball is set to take on the Marshall University Thundering Herd in game two of a three-game series.
The first time these two teams battled it out on the field was on March 24th, where WVU took the victory 3-0.
West Virginia comes into the game in need of a win after dropping their last series to UCF. They come in with a record 21-7. WVU sits third in the Big 12 standings, behind Kansas and UCF.
Marshall comes in with a 14-16 record, looking for a win as well, to help their confidence. The Thundering Herd has picked up one Power 4 win, against ACC opponent Virginia Tech.
On the call for the Mountain State Showdown will be Brett Berner, with Matt Foley and Connor Roberts joining him as the Color Analyst.
