WVU to play Cincinnati at Big 12 Tournament

The West Virginia Men’s Basketball team will be looking for their Prince Charming this March as they will need to pull off a Cinderella run in the Big 12 Tournament to save the season.

In what has been statistically one of the Mountaineer’s worst seasons, they still have life as they take on Cincinnati at 3:00 to kick off their 2024 Big 12 Tournament.

The Mountaineers split the season series with the Bearcats with each team winning at home. The two teams did end their seasons against each other in Cincinnati where the Mountaineers fell 92-56.

Noah Farrakhan led WVU with 12 points. He was the only Mountaineer to reach double figures in scoring.

West Virginia has allowed at least 92 points in 3 of their last 4 games. Every big dance in March has its Cinderella. The Mountaineers find themselves seeded 14 of 14 but their season is not over.

Game tips at 3:00 and you can listen to the call live from Kansas City right here on U92! Tannor Enyart and Brian McQuillen will bring you U92’s first men’s game of the season. You’re not going to want to miss it. This is MARCH!
