WVU Women's Soccer Looks To Extend Winning Streak Against James Madison in the True Blue Game

Morgantown, W.Va.- The West Virginia Mountaineers Women's Soccer Team are set to take on the James Madison Dukes on Thursday September 5th at Dick Dlesk Soccer Stadium.

The Mountaineers are coming off of a big win over Robert Morris this past Sunday. Goals by Dilary Heredia-Beltran in the second minute, along with another score from Taylor White in the 52nd minute lifted the Mountaineers to victory. With this victory, The Mountaineers were able to improve to 3-2 on the young season.

James Madison comes into the contest with a record of 1-2-2. James Madison is led by Ariana Reyes who has 6 points so far this season. The Dukes lost their most recent matchup to the #7 ranked Virginia Cavaliers.

The Mountaineers are 8-1-1 against James Madison, with the most recent matchup being back in 2021, in which the Mountaineers won by a score of 2-1. They will look to get another win over The Dukes on Thursday evening.
