MORGANTOWN, W.Va. — The West Virginia men’s soccer team received an at-large bid to the NCAA Tournament after being eliminated in the Sun Belt Conference semifinal.
WVU will host St. John’s on Thursday, Nov. 20, at 7 p.m. at Dick Dlesk Soccer Stadium. The winner will advance to face No. 10 High Point on Sunday, Nov. 23.
The Mountaineers and Red Storm have met 15 times, with WVU holding a 3-10-2 record. Their most recent matchup came in 2014, when West Virginia earned a 1–0 victory. There is also a family connection on the pitch; St. John’s senior defender Markus Pusztahegyi is the older brother of WVU sophomore defender Tristan Pusztahegyi.
U92 will provide full broadcast coverage. Sports Director Quinn Robie will handle play-by-play, with Sports Producer Nico Caretto on color commentary and Aaron Pepling reporting from the sidelines.
Pregame coverage begins at 6:30 p.m., hosted by Andrew Hartlove with Ben Stautzenbach and Dom Brusco.
Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. The broadcast can be heard locally on 91.7 FM in Morgantown, online at U92TheMoose.com, on the TuneIn app and on Alexa-enabled devices.
