U92 will be broadcasting the Backyard Brawl baseball game from PNC Park on Tuesday, April 30th.
West Virginia (26-16) is coming off a series sweep against the Baylor Bears, WVU was scheduled to play Penn State in a midweek game on April 24th but it was canceled due to field conditions after weather.
Junior Grant Hussey went 3-for-4 with a home run, two RBI and three runs scored on Sunday in the final game of the series against Baylor. Hussey is one home run shy of the all-time record at WVU.
Pitching has been an issue this year for WVU, the weekend rotation was recently changed by Head Coach Randy Mazey, Pitching for Tuesday's game has yet to be announced for either team.
On the other side, the Pittsburgh Panthers (18-22) are coming off a series win against Non Conference opponent Bryant, where they won the final two games of the series. Pitt recently took a game from the sixth ranked team in the country, Clemson, won 8-4 on April 20th, but ultimately lost the series.
The last time these two teams met was just a few weeks ago where the Mountaineers took the 6-3 win with a record breaking crowd in attendance.
In that game, WVU did all of its scoring in the third and fourth innings, Sam White had an RBI double and Reed Chumley had a sacrifice fly. Pitt scored three runs in the eighth inning.
WVU looks to take the series win over the Panthers at PNC Park, on the call will be, Jonathan Hamilton will be on Play By Play, joined by Quinn Robie, and Joey Bray as the color analyst, Robie and Bray will be joined by Cam Scott on pregame starting at 6:30, with First Pitch at 7:05.
